Resources for helping your child at home

Hi Parents,

Here are some great websites for helping your child at home!

This website has instructional videos from math to science. Start with "developmental math" for our 3rd graders.

This is great to show your child the right way to write in cursive.

If you want to make sure that your child is reading books at their level, go to this website, type in the title of the book and it will tell you the reading level on the side. You don't want your child reading middle school level books or Kinder level books. We want them at a book level that is just right!

Hope this was helpful!

Love, Ms. So

First Day of School

Hello students and parents!

August 1st will be the first day of school! I can't wait to see all of your excited faces on Monday. This year will have some new changes as well as old routines and procedures from last year's 2nd grade class. I'm excited to tell you all about it on the first day of school. I ask that you come prepared with a backpack, a lunch, and yourself! You don't need ANYTHING in your backpack because I have bought EVERYTHING already for you! Parents, please bring your child to school promptly at 8:00 am. I'll see you then!

Love,
Ms. So

Parent Conferences

On Thursday, February 17 I sent home parent conference slips. I included a day and time. Parent conferences will be held on February 28-March 4. Those days will be half school days. If the time I gave you doesn't work, please send back the parent conference slip with a couple of days and times you would prefer. I will try to respond back to you in a timely manner. If you would like a fast response, text me or email me! I look forward to seeing all of you at the parent conferences!

No School on Friday, February 18th and Monday, February 21st

Have a great 4 day weekend!
